## Check the code, not your patience

A dedicated number attached to an inbox, and the same API as email. The one-time code arrives already extracted.

## What the SMS module covers

- **The same model as email** : An SMS is a message like any other: same inbox, same search, same blocking wait, same code extraction. You do not learn a second API.
- **Code extraction** : The one-time code is isolated from the text on arrival, whatever wording the sender used.
- **An SMS counter separate from the email one** : SMS do not draw on the messages included with your subscription: each number brings its own allowance, with a monthly limit you set inbox by inbox. A looping SMS test drains neither the other inboxes’ counter nor your email one.
- **Per-unit billing** : 17 € per number per month, 100 inbound SMS included, then 0,015 € per SMS. No module to switch on, no monthly surcharge for the right to receive an SMS.
- **TOTP authenticator** : For 2FA journeys based on an authenticator app rather than SMS: generate the six-digit codes from the API, with no phone in the loop.
- **History and export** : Received SMS follow the same retention and the same export as emails, and appear in the same inbox view.
